Mounds Production Company, 700 Industrial Park Rd, Mounds, Illinois, United States of America Job Description Posted Friday, June 26, 2026 at 5:00 AM Job Overview The Utility Operator B performs a variety of general and skilled labor functions in support of packaging, processing, warehousing and plant aesthetics. Schedule Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and alternating Saturdays. Responsibilities Reclaiming damaged pallets, unloading and loading trucks, assists with loading railcars, placing dunnage, etc., and/or; Assisting with changing screens, cleaning elevators, cleaning out pipes, etc., and/or; Reclaiming damaged pallets, stacking, bailing, sewing, etc. Operate equipment such as bobcat, front-end loader, sweeper, forklift and road sweeper to move debris, waste receptacles, pallets, and other materials on the plant grounds. Perform general clean-up using manual equipment such as shovels, brooms, mops, fire hoses and floor jacks. Perform pre-operational equipment checks and monitors performance and gauges during operation. Follow all safety rules and regulations. Keep all areas clean and free of clutter. Qualifications Education Must pass basic computer skills assessment . (Powders only) Skills & Abilities Must be able to read, comprehend , and act on product specifications, SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), PWI (Process Work Instructions), AIQ processes, and similar documents. Must be able to effectively communicate with team leader , shipping/receiving clerks, scheduler, supervisors, customers, drivers, etc. Must satisfy the spirit of WE CARE. Must be able to sit on required equipment throughout shift. Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently. Bending reaching, twisting, stooping, walking and climbing stairways and ladders frequently. Good sight and hearing to avoid hazard. Must be able to function in the required role while wearing appropriate PPE including, but not limited to: Safety glasses, hearing protection, dust mask, protective coveralls, and pother as may be required by a hot/cold, dusty, loud industrial environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Oil Dri Corporation
