1. The Contractor shall assist and help to ensure continuity of daily operations, and ensure that all current input, forms, reports and search functions work correctly in the modernized solution.
2. The Contractor shall be guided by an advisory group of NPS users, to improve each system and implement fixes or changes as needed.
3. The Contractor shall identify and suggest for implementation any additional features or improvements that may be required, would be useful, or, based upon experience, are simply improve or streamline staff workflow processes.
4. The Contractor shall ensure that NPS has ownership rights and access to all source code and that the system is adequately documented.
5. The Contractor shall ensure that all work is consistent with the NPS Information Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Handbook guidance and the requirements of the DOI/NPS Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) policies and standards.
6. The Contractor shall ensure the system meets the information security requirements as defined by NPS, DOI, and U.S. Government.
7. The Contractor shall ensure that the systems meet accessibility requirements as specified in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and associated standards. 9 Skill set info TASK 2: WEBSITE/WEB APPLICATION MAINTENANCE
§ Ensure all systems list in 'Background' to meet or exceed National Institute of Standards and Technology information technology security standards, as well as comply with the NPS Information Systems Life Cycle Handbook. The contractor shall proactively seek out and rectify any security vulnerabilities before they are discovered by outside parties. Upon receiving a requirement to address a security issue, the contractor must implement a fix within twenty-four (24) hours. If the contractor requires an extension to the twenty-four (24) hours, then an extension request must be submitted to the CO or designee within twelve (12) hours of receiving the requirement. It will be at the CO or designee's discretion to grant such an extension.
§ Troubleshoot all technical issues with the application associated with the systems listed above.
§ New Forms and New fields:
o Create a new from or create new fields based on program need.
o Update/modify form and update/modify fields based on each program need.
§ Create new Queries/new reports/new functions based on each program need. (All reports downloadable to Excel Spreadsheet or PDF format) 10 Education 11 Certifications (if required) 12 Documentation Required for submission 13 Work Hours Monday - Friday 0700 - 1700 PST/PDT 14 15 Work authorization required US Citizen Only 16 Relocation is accepted N/ 17 Remote work No 18 dditional Notes if any
