REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - PACU (PEDIATRICS) | PER DIEM JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with Pediatric PACU experience for a per diem opportunity. The RN will provide specialized post-anesthesia care, monitor patient recovery, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

• Shift Time: 8:00 AM 2:00 PM
• Meal Break: 30 Minutes
• Day Shift

PAY

• Pay Rate: 53.76-62.72

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Current BLS and ACLS Certifications
• PALS Certification preferred
• Previous PACU and pediatric nursing experience required
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient-care abilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor pediatric patients recovering from anesthesia
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare teams
• Provide patient and family education regarding recovery and discharge
