Project Manager

Location: Ohio Engagement Type: Long-term Consultancy Assignment Coalesce Management Consulting is supporting a leading hyperscale data center developer on the delivery of a large scale multi-building campus currently in active construction and fit‑out across Ohio. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the owner side delivery team, supporting the senior project management function across an active and fast‑paced campus development. This role will act as the on‑site owner's representative, taking ownership of specific workstreams and driving coordination across multiple trades and interfaces within a live construction environment. This is a long‑term program with multiple buildings in simultaneous delivery and a strong forward pipeline of additional phases already progressing. Project Overview Multiple buildings in simultaneous construction and fit‑out Complex MEP scope across electrical distribution and mechanical systems Single end customer across all buildings Full time site based role The successful consultant will become a key on‑site extension of the owner's delivery team, supporting senior project management across active construction, fit‑out and turnover phases. Key Responsibilities Core Project Delivery Support the senior project management team acting as owner's representative Assist with delivery of customer fit‑out works within a live construction environment Take ownership of specific workstreams under guidance of the Senior PM Drive coordination across multiple trades and interfaces within the data hall environment MEP & Technical Scope Support oversight of key data center systems including electrical distribution and mechanical systems Monitor installation quality and progress of MEP works on site Assist in identifying technical issues and coordinating resolution with contractors and design teams Support commissioning activities including system testing and turnover readiness Site & Trade Management Maintain strong presence on site, working closely with field teams and subcontractors Support management of general contractor and trade partners Assist in tracking contractor performance against schedule and scope Help drive accountability across trades where performance or coordination issues arise Schedule & Progress Tracking Support review of construction schedules and site progress Assist in identifying gaps between planned and actual progress Help coordinate short term planning with contractors and the project team Escalate potential delays and support recovery planning Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals and change tracking Support preparation of regular progress reports for internal and client stakeholders Ensure clear communication of risks, issues and progress updates Strong site based experience and the ability to take real ownership of workstreams is more important than pure hyperscale tenure. Ideal Profile Background in data centre, mission critical or large scale construction preferred Previous Project Engineer or Assistant PM experience suitable for progression into this role Practical awareness of MEP systems within data centre or complex construction environments Ability to operate in a fast paced, high pressure delivery environment Strong communication skills across site teams, contractors and stakeholders Proactive approach to problem solving and issue resolution Preferred certifications: PMP, CCM, PE (beneficial) Working Model Full time on site role Hours driven by project milestones and delivery requirements Immediate start #J-18808-Ljbffr Coalesce Management Consulting
