Union Bank Customer Onboarding Resources

Duration: Mid-June – Oct. ‘22

As part of TOS' Managed File Services team, we need to add 10 resources to support the onboarding of Union Bank customers. Customers are businesses using their products and/or services. Candidates must be experienced in Managed File Transfer (MFT). Experience with Sterling File Gateway would be a plus.

It would be our team's responsibility to serve as the first line of defense, remediate issues, and work with Union Bank customers for troubleshooting production issues.

We don't necessarily need transmission experts but our folks should be able to effectively work with customers to determine why connections are not working.

The goal for the Union Bank customers is to create programmatic import routines as opposed to simply manual. The transfers will be mostly automated through Bulk Loads into Sterling and API connectivity between ServiceNow and Sterling File Gateway. Automation through these APIs is not in scope for our team.

Candidates don't need Sterling experience but they must have MFT experience and offer strong customer service skills.

Candidates should have an understanding for PGP Encryption.

Must be USC – dealing with sensitive client data.

HM doesn't want to disrupt his team responsible for BAU. The 10 resources will be responsible for the onboarding of Union Bank customers.

They use a custom Workflow app within ServiceNow for Bulk Loads and managing the state of the electronic data files.

They built a Test Utility that is used to test the jobs.

Communication will be through email and occasional conference calls. US Bank wants our emphasis to be on validation of import routines. Within Sterling File Gateway (the Transmission Platform being used), there are three methods of electronic data transfer.
