RN - Telemetry

Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Shifts are scheduled for 12-hour nights, from 1845 to 0715, with weekend shifts required every other weekend. Holiday shifts may also be required unless specifically requested in time-off requests.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry RN experience is required.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

License and Certification Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Orientation and Training

New hires will participate in a comprehensive orientation program. Days 1 and 2 will consist of a 2-day orientation, while Day 3 will include orientation to the clinical setting. Day 4 will continue with clinical orientation, and Day 5 will focus on completing computer training before being assigned to units, which may vary based on specific needs.

Floating Requirements

Staff may be required to float to other units as needed.

Facility Requirements

• The facility is a nicotine-free environment.
• Staff may cancel one shift per pay period at no cost to the facility, with a minimum notice of 2 hours.
• Orientation typically spans 8 hours, excluding any billable orientation time.
