Senior Software Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing company (75+ team members and counting) that builds training content, digital publications, and software products for a specialized industrial sector. They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build modern, scalable applications, largely greenfield, across internal and client-facing products. What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain back-end services and APIs on the Microsoft .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET Core), with a focus on reliability, security, and performance Design SQL Server database schemas and write efficient queries and data access code Contribute to front-end components as needed using React, Vite, or Next.js Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical design discussions Integrate applications with identity providers (Entra ID or Auth0) and enterprise systems such as LMS, EAM, and HCM platforms Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; build proofs-of-concept to evaluate new tools Work with Docker, Azure infrastructure-as-code (Bicep), and message brokers (Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ) Contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps Use AI development tools responsibly to speed up scaffolding, refactoring, and testing Who We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field 7+ years professional software engineering experience — not open to recent graduates C# and modern .NET (primary language/stack) 5+ years .NET and 5+ years Azure (both listed as required on the application itself) Back-end services/API experience, including SQL Server data access and relational database work Working knowledge of modern front-end (React/Vite/Next.js or similar) — enough to contribute, not expert-level Experience using AI tools thoughtfully in the dev lifecycle Strong communication and problem-solving skills Nice to have Unity Realtime engine Displaying multimedia in apps (3D models, photos, video) NoSQL databases #J-18808-Ljbffr ProspectBlue
