Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location:

• Hospital: Reston Hospital Center
• City/State: Reston, Virginia
• Address: 1850 Town Center Parkway, Reston, VA
• Unit: Cath Lab (First Floor)

Schedule

• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours per Shift: 10 hours
• Schedule: 4 days/week (40 hours/week)
• Shift Time: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call: Required

Unit Information

• Cath Lab: Currently 1 Cath Lab
• Recovery Area: 9-bed pre/post procedure area
• Daily Staffing:
  • 1 Charge Nurse
  • 2 RCIS
  • 3–4 RNs
  • Total: 5–6 staff/day (3 staff for elective cases)
• Night Shift: Not operational

Equipment & EMR

• Equipment: Mac Lab, Philips C-Arm
• EMR: CPOE

Procedures

• Diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations
• Pacemaker insertions

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
• Must be willing to take call
• Cath Lab experience required

Dress Code

• Hospital-provided scrubs

This is a 40-hour/week, four 10-hour day shift Cath Lab assignment in Reston, VA, primarily supporting cardiac catheterizations and pacemaker procedures with required on-call coverag
