Assembly Worker

*Job Summary*

* Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations and performs testing and calibration of parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet required tolerances and product specifications.
* Uses hand and power tools to assemble units according to established procedures.
* Identifies components that fail testing or tolerance requirements and performs repairs as needed.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Assemble and test components and finished products in accordance with engineering and product specifications.
* Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and repair units that do not meet tolerance or testing requirements.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
* Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
* Accurately document production activity and maintain required records.

*Qualifications*

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the assigned specialty area.
* Typically requires 24 years of experience in the field or a related area.
* Working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
* Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.
* Works under immediate supervision with limited need for independent judgment.
* Reports to a supervisor or manager.

*Physical & Work Environment Requirements*

* Lifting in excess of 30 pounds and/or frequent repetitive lifting may be required.
* Exposure to machinery, chemicals, biological materials, or other physical risks is anticipated.

*Safety, Reliability & Work Ethic*

* This role involves repetitive work, lifting over 30 pounds, and following strict safety procedures.
* How do you ensure you work safely and consistently in a fast-paced production environment?
* What this assesses: safety awareness, physical readiness, and reliability.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Experience:
* Fabrication: 2 years (Required)
* Assembly: 3 years (Required)
