Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult and pediatric inpatients across general units, Adult ICU, NICU, and PICU
- Manage ventilated patients, arterial blood gas interpretation, airway clearance, humidification, and ventilator management including weaning when appropriate
- Administer inhaled medications, chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, and suctioning as needed
- Assess patient status, document in the EMR (Epic) within the past 2 years, and communicate with physicians, nurses, and the broader care team
- Monitor patient responses, respond to respiratory emergencies, and adjust therapies per physician orders
- Participate in rounds and provide patient and family education while adhering to infection control and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate work history documentation for all specialties worked on prior employment entries

Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license required; CRT not accepted
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NBRC Verification, NRP
- Minimum 1 year of professional respiratory therapy experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience required; Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years is required
- Inpatient experience across adult/pediatric general units, Adult ICU, NICU, and PICU; no float, weekends as needed, no block scheduling; schedule includes Monday through Sunday
- Documentation of all specialties worked on each prior employment entry
