RT/CR Level II Technician

Job Details Job Locations: US-IN-Indianapolis Job ID: 2026-17994 Category: NDT/NDE Position Type: Regular Full-Time Work Schedule Status: On-Site Position Summary Acuren is currently recruiting for a RT Level II (CR a plus) for operations in Indianapolis, IN. THIS WILL BE A CALLOUT/TRAVEL POSITION. Successful candidates must be able to travel up to 75% throughout IN, KY, OH, TN AND SOUTHERN IL. (Environments will be Corn/Agricultural, Petro-Chemical, Gas Plants and Pharmaceuticals.) RELOCATION ASSISTANCE FOR QUALIFIED APPLICANTS. Responsibilities Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators Organize and report test results Perform specialized inspections May instruct and supervise others Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Some college preferred Certified Level II RT/CR Additional NDT certifications (MT/PT/UTT) a plus Technical background in NDT methods and procedures Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections Knowledge of NDT equipment Experience in report writing Benefits Competitive salary Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance 401K Plan Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Working Conditions Outside environment with continuous physical effort, exposure to 5-7 elements/conditions, moderate mental effort, and occasional requests for assistance.
