Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting
• Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients during night shift hours
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Float to Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit as needed during low ICU census periods (patient ratios of 5–6:1)
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of professional RN experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• TNCC or TCAR certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification and a minimum of 6 hours of Stroke education (education available if needed)
• EKG course completion (course available if needed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Prior experience floating to Medical/Surgical or Telemetry units
