Senior Project Manager

Custom Learning Designs has partnered with Hueman to find a Senior Project Manager.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution of complex client engagements from project initiation through completion. This individual oversees all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while fostering strong client relationships and cross-functional collaboration.

This role requires a strategic leader who combines operational excellence, client management, and business acumen to deliver high-impact professional services and drive long-term client success.

Custom Learning Designs (CLD) is a leading provider of custom training solutions for pharmaceutical and life sciences companies. At CLD, we support our customers in developing customized training for their commercial sales teams, medical teams (MSLs), patients, and physicians.

• Direct and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including project definition, planning, execution, monitoring, and project closure.
• Lead high-value, large-scale, and highly complex projects involving multiple workstreams, accelerated timelines, co-promotes, and challenging client environments.
• Develop and execute project strategies that maximize efficiency, profitability, resource utilization, and client value.
• Build trusted client relationships by serving as the primary project lead and consistently delivering an exceptional client experience.
• Communicate effectively with clients, including facilitating difficult conversations, and independently delivering complex or sensitive messages.
• Present CLD’s project management methodology during sales presentations and client meetings, demonstrating confidence and expertise that strengthens client confidence and supports new business opportunities.
• As needed, identify opportunities for organic account growth and secure additional work through exceptional service and strategic partnership.
• Manage project financials, scope, timelines, risks, and resource allocation to achieve project and business objectives.
• Coordinate and communicate clearly and effectively across CLDs cross-functional departments by providing clear direction and constructive feedback to writers throughout the development process, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and quality standards.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen by understanding client business challenges and collaborating cross-functionally to develop effective solutions.
• Continuously evaluate project workflows, identify process improvement opportunities, and recommend enhancements that improve operational efficiency and client outcomes.
• Consistently receive positive client feedback through proactive communication, strong leadership, and successful project delivery.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required

• Experience in timeline management software

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and regulations pertaining to research, clinical trials, ethical conduct and promotional review processes including Veeva or other electronic referencing systems.
