Speech Language Pathologist

About the Role Conduct speech, language, fluency, voice, and social-communication evaluations and provide individualized or small-group therapy for K–12 students. Responsibilities Develop and monitor communication goals, maintain accurate service documentation, and contribute to IEPs and multidisciplinary meetings. Evaluate and support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other communication tools for students with complex needs. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate communication strategies into the classroom and support student success. Qualifications Master’s or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (DOH) license and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or qualifying clinical fellowship status Successful completion of required background checks and applicable state/district employment requirements Previous school-based experience preferred Note: Out-of-state candidates must meet applicable reciprocity or temporary credential requirements. Pay range and compensation package Competitive Pay: Earn $53.10 - $54.20 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
