A well-established national law firm is seeking an Attorney Recruiting Coordinator to support attorney recruiting, onboarding, and early-career talent programs. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a legal, professional services, academic, or corporate environment who has had exposure to human resources, recruiting, talent operations, or people-focused administrative work and is interested in building a career in attorney recruiting. The Attorney Recruiting Coordinator will work closely with members of the talent team to help manage candidate communications, interview coordination, recruiting events, onboarding logistics, data tracking, and program administration. The right candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, detail-focused, and comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced professional environment. This is a hybrid position. Some travel may be required for recruiting events, campus programs, conferences, or other business needs. Key Responsibilities Attorney Recruiting Coordination Coordinate recruiting activities for law students, entry-level attorneys, and other early-career attorney candidates. Assist with candidate sourcing, resume review, interview scheduling, evaluation tracking, offer process coordination, and candidate follow-up. Serve as a point of contact for attorney candidates throughout the recruiting process, ensuring timely, professional, and accurate communication. Support recruiting events, career fairs, networking programs, interview programs, and other talent outreach initiatives. Prepare and maintain recruiting materials, interviewer resources, candidate communications, event materials, and related collateral. Program Support Assist with the planning and execution of early-career attorney talent programs, including orientation, training, mentorship, work assignment tracking, feedback collection, and end-of-program processes. Coordinate logistics for internal and external events, including calendar management, invitations, venue or virtual platform coordination, vendor communication, materials preparation, and budget tracking. Partner with internal teams to support a positive candidate and new hire experience. Track program participation, feedback, offer decisions, and related documentation. Administrative and Data Management Maintain accurate candidate, recruiting, and program information in applicant tracking systems, databases, spreadsheets, and internal files. Compile recruiting metrics and assist with preparing reports for internal stakeholders. Ensure recruiting records, candidate files, evaluations, and onboarding documentation are organized and up to date. Provide general administrative support to the recruiting and talent team as needed. Additional Projects Assist with lateral attorney, entry-level attorney, student, or post-program recruiting projects as assigned. Support process improvements related to recruiting operations, candidate experience, interview coordination, reporting, and onboarding. Contribute to special projects that support department goals and broader talent initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred. An equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered. At least two years of professional experience preferred, ideally in recruiting, human resources, talent acquisition, professional services administration, legal administration, higher education, career services, or a related environment. Exposure to recruiting, HR processes, onboarding, employee programs, candidate coordination, or talent operations is strongly preferred. Prior experience in a law firm, professional services firm, academic institution, corporate HR department, or similarly fast-paced professional environment is helpful but not required. Interest in attorney recruiting, law student recruiting, legal talent acquisition, or professional services recruiting. Ability to travel occasionally for recruiting events, campus programs, conferences, or other business needs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, calendars, and stakeholders with professionalism and discretion. Comfort working with confidential information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with applicant tracking systems, HR systems, recruiting databases, or similar platforms is a plus. Successful candidates will be proactive, responsive, polished, collaborative, and comfortable serving as a trusted coordination point between attorney candidates, internal stakeholders, and members of the talent team. Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 to $90,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and location. The organization offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
