Job Description: Security Guard – Lake Belle RV Resort Position Title: Security Guard Location: Lake Belle RV Resort, Holly Hill, FL Reports To: Resort Manager Position Type: Part-Time as needed Job Overview Lake Belle RV Resort is seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. This position is essential for maintaining the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. The ideal candidate will have experience in security operations, possess strong observational skills, and be committed to providing a safe environment for all resort patrons. Key Responsibilities Patrol and Monitoring : Conduct regular patrols of the resort grounds to ensure the safety of guests and security of property. Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures. Guest Assistance : Provide assistance to guests in navigating the resort and addressing safety concerns. Respond to emergencies and alarms by investigating disturbances and contacting emergency services when necessary. Maintain accurate records of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Prepare reports on incidents and provide information as part of the investigative process. Access Control : Control access to the resort by monitoring visitor entry; verifying credentials, and issuing visitor passes when appropriate. Ensure that all guests, contractors, and visitors adhere to the resort’s rules and procedures. Emergency Response : Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents within the resort. Participate in emergency preparedness and response drills, maintaining readiness for typical situations. Qualifications Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position. Trained in First Aid and CPR is plus. Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols. Surveillance skills and detail orientation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent; further training in security or law enforcement is a plus. Valid Class‑D security guard license/certification. Working Conditions Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to perform physical activities such as standing for long periods, walking extensive grounds, and responding quickly to emergencies. Work both indoors and outdoors, in varying weather conditions. We are a clean air resort – There is absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed on property.
