Azure Data Engineer
Compunnel
Must Have - Azure, PL/SQL, SQL Tuning, ETL, Snowflake and Python
Responsibilities
- Technical leader —leading define, build, prove cycles.
- Mentor and coach to the team’s data engineering associates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required and at least 10 years of hands-on experience in data and cloud Engineering
- Solid experience in writing complex SQL queries on Oracle (PL/SQL)
- Hand-on experience with performance optimization and tunning approaches, SQL tuning.
- Public Cloud expertise (Azure preferred)
- Experience working with large data sets.
- Experience with ETL strategies, design, and development.
- Experience with resiliency and stability design principals, including SRE.
- Familiarity with large complex system design
- Familiarity with distribution application design and development (Java, .Net, Python) would be a plus.
- Shell scripting experience.
