Supervisor of Streets/Infrastructure Maintenance

Performs supervisory work over a team of skilled and unskilled workers engaged in a variety of manual tasks, including street maintenance, sidewalk repairs, signage installation and maintenance, and related infrastructure tasks. Schedules and coordinate daily work activities to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. Requires a comprehensive understanding and broad application of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to street maintenance, sidewalks, and signage functions. Two (2) or more years’ experience relating to construction operations, utilities, maintenance, or repair work; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment. Must have a valid Florida Class B commercial driver's license with satisfactory driving record throughout employment. Note: Five or more years’ experience related to construction, utilities, maintenance, or repair work may be credited for up to two (2) years of the associate degree requirement.
