About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of ending domestic and dating violence, as well as commercial sexual exploitation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic, operational, and external leadership, with a focus on strengthening internal infrastructure, enhancing program quality, and expanding funding and partnerships. This role requires a leader with a deep commitment to the values and mission of the organization, including a trauma-informed, survivor-centered approach. The CEO will be expected to have significant senior leadership experience, a proven track record in fundraising, and expertise in managing large government contracts. They must also be adept at fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and staff support, and be prepared to serve as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for the organization. Key responsibilities for the CEO include setting and executing organizational strategy, ensuring financial sustainability, and leading efforts to diversify revenue streams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, experience working with a Board of Directors, and excellent communication and public speaking skills. While not all candidates will meet every requirement, the role is suited to a strategic, mission-driven leader with a background in nonprofit or human services, and a passion for social justice and social change. Preferred qualifications include experience in related fields and fluency in a language other than English, particularly Spanish, Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, or Haitian Creole. The CEO will also be expected to build and deepen relationships with community partners, funders, and public stakeholders, and to advance new and emerging initiatives in the field.
