Valet Team Leader - Hourly + Tips = $18-$20/HR Potential - Wyndham Miami Airport

Job Summary The Team Leader is responsible for the general operations of a property that is less than a 24/7 operation with nine (9) or fewer GSAs while working alongside coworkers to ensure that the site’s service standards are met or exceeded. Under the direction of the District Manager, or an assigned off‑site Account Manager, the Team Leader coordinates and administers, provides troubleshooting and guidance to the team, handles critical issues, and makes judgment calls when expediency is priority. Responsibilities Ensure that the guest/patient service experience is delivered consistently on all shifts. Regularly perform guest/patient service duties and efficiently allocate labor resources to support service delivery. Understand the client’s service standards and integrate Towne Park’s standards to complement them. Maintain accuracy and composure while under pressure to handle guest/patient complaints and difficult situations. Maintain a detailed knowledge of the client’s facility, including outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, main attractions, parking rates, and other pertinent information. Effectively participate in “The Show” and deliver “Aggressive Hospitality” to guest/patients by addressing them with the appropriate greeting, opening all vehicle and hotel doors, and checking in arriving guests/patients while explaining parking and retrieval procedures. Conduct an effective room presentation when providing bell services for hotel guests and assist with the delivery and pickup of items to guest/patient rooms. Assign coworkers to routine roles and non‑ordinary roles, hire and orient new associates, provide feedback and coaching, and ensure shift huddles happen on every shift. Recognize and develop top performers, communicate performance documentation, and promote a teamwork philosophy through leading by example. Develop cohesive working relationships with the clients’ staff members, maintain regular meetings, and ensure the team is focused on exceeding client expectations. Ensure controls for scheduling, overtime, tip reporting, and timekeeping, utilize standardized business systems, build work schedules, and reconcile revenue and tickets at the end of each shift. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university. License/Certification: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Minimum age 18 years; must pass a criminal background, MVR, and drug screen. Experience: One to two (1‑2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge: GSA procedures. Skills: Manual transmission driving, planning and prioritizing multiple projects under pressure, work ethic, stability, computer proficiency with MS Office and point‑of‑sale applications, written and verbal communication, and proficiency in Standard English. Additional: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business policies, compose professional business communications, and represent the company effectively in diverse settings. Compensation Hourly Base Pay: $15 per hour plus $3‑$5 per hour in tips. Work Schedule AM/PM/OVN.
