Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior OnBase developer who has actually executed an OnBase migration , rather than someone with only routine administration or support experience. Strong hands-on expertise with OnBase APIs, databases, document extraction, workflow analysis, and migration validation is critical for this role.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior OnBase Developer to join an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team supporting a major legacy modernization initiative. The primary focus of this role is the technical analysis, extraction, transformation, and migration of content and business processes from a legacy Hyland OnBase environment into modern platforms including OpenText, Microsoft SharePoint, and Camunda .

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on OnBase development experience combined with proven experience executing large-scale document, data, and workflow migration projects.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on Hyland OnBase development, configuration, and administration.
• Strong experience with OnBase Unity API, C# scripting, WorkView, Workflow, Keyword Types, and OnBase database schema .
• Proven experience leading or supporting a large-scale migration from OnBase to a modern ECM platform .
• Strong SQL Server and/or Oracle experience, including complex T-SQL queries, data extraction, and ETL processes .
• Strong C#/.NET development experience, particularly with OnBase Unity API and/or REST APIs.
• Experience extracting documents, metadata, annotations, audit information, and historical content from OnBase.
• Experience with high-volume document migration, data validation, reconciliation, and data integrity checks.
• Understanding of SharePoint, OpenText Content Suite/xECM, and/or Camunda .
• Experience analyzing and translating legacy OnBase workflows and business processes into modern workflow solutions.

Other Qualifications

• Active or previous Hyland OnBase certifications , such as OCA, OCWA, or OCAPI.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory , or similar integration/ETL technologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
