Job Summary

The Pavilion at Kenton, a leading senior care community in Covington, KY, is seeking a reliable, compassionate Transportation Associate to provide safe and courteous transportation services for our residents. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting residents' independence, ensuring timely attendance at medical appointments, community outings, and internal transfers between buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapies, community outings, and between the two care buildings

• Assist residents in and out of vehicles, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility aids

• Secure wheelchairs and ensure passenger safety at all times

• Maintain transportation schedules and coordinate with nursing and administrative staff

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs

• Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and in good working condition

• Provide friendly, respectful interaction with residents, families, and staff

• Follow all traffic laws and organizational safety protocols

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• State Tested Nursing Assistant Preferred

• Experience driving wheelchair-accessible vehicles preferred

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Experience working with seniors or in healthcare settings is an asset

• Ability to assist residents with mobility needs (lifting, bending, securing equipment)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

Work Schedule

• Full-time (flexible scheduling may be required)

• Occasional evenings or weekends based on appointment needs
