Jim Kovalak Excavating & Septic Services is a family-owned company that has proudly served Southeast Michigan for over 50 years. We are currently seeking a dependable CDL A Driver to join our growing team.

This position involves operating pump and vacuum trucks while supporting septic service and excavation operations throughout the area. We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in customer service, and wants stable, year-round employment.

Experience operating pump trucks or vacuum trucks is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate CDL vehicles, pump trucks, and vacuum trucks
• Transport equipment and materials to residential and commercial job sites
• Perform septic pumping and assist with septic service operations
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate service records and paperwork
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• Assist with general field duties as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Valid CDL Class A 
• Clean driving record
• Pump truck, vacuum truck, septic, construction, or heavy equipment experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment as needed
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team
