Job description Executive and Finance Assistant Lighthouse Media is seeking a full-time, in-office (Monday-Friday) individual that has office and customer service experience, who is accurate, has excellent communication skills, and is a problem solver. The ideal candidate would be outgoing, cheerful, and have afriendly personality. A working knowledge of QuickBooks and some accounting experience is also ideal. This position would be responsible for supporting the president as well as the sales team, coordinating with clients and satisfying their needs, and some data entry accounting functions as needed. The best candidate for this excellent opportunity will be able to multitask and complete time-sensitive projects. They would also be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to respond to situations as necessary. Bachelor’s degree (business/accounting/marketing/management) preferred. Job Summary The Executive and Finance Assistant plays an integral role in supporting Lighthouse Media to maintain its reputation through professionalism and a positive attitude. This position is also responsible for verifying invoices, and for assisting in the online bill pay process in a timely and accurate manner. Duties include Support the company President with daily duties. Collaborate with all staff activities. Excellent phone etiquette and perform general clerical duties. Assist Finance Manager with some data entry and online banking functions. Perform record keeping activities. Qualifications and Attributes Keep informed of up-to-date contract changes, cancellations, and renewals. Perform general clerical duties as needed. Eagerness to problem solve, yet asks for help when needed. Produces quality work. Takes initiative and eager to learn. Reliable Team Player Supportive and respectful of their co-workers QuickBooks experience helpful. Experience in online Bill Pay, ACH, and EFT payments helpful. Experience in Excel and data entry helpful.
