POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the Registrar in maintaining all official academic records of Rochester Christian University. This individual is responsible for processing add/drop/withdrawal requests for students for the current term, processing transcript orders, and ordering diplomas. This position is a great introduction to working in higher education. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A minimum of an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university; a baccalaureate degree preferred Preferred experience working in higher education settings, ideally in records management or academic services. An equivalent combination of related work and education experience ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with commencement preparation Process administrative drops and withdrawals of student schedules Process transcript requests and student forms Process pre-requisite checks Manage student incompletes Responsible for ordering supplies for faculty on campus, including paper and various other office supplies. Stay informed of current state and federal regulations regarding student records. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Experience working with CAMS Enterprise or related student management system Additional experience working with National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment, National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with campus departments, faculty, parents, and students Supportive of the University mission.
