Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Monday – Friday | 42.5 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $65 – $70/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to perform mammography procedures, obtain diagnostic-quality images, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Required Qualifications
Current BLS certification.
Current R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT) certification.
Current MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) certification from the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
Demonstrated experience performing mammography procedures.
Strong knowledge of mammography imaging techniques and radiation safety.
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Responsibilities
Perform mammography procedures according to established protocols.
Prepare and position patients for mammography examinations.
Operate mammography imaging equipment safely and effectively.
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Assist physicians with diagnostic mammography procedures as required.
Explain procedures and address patient questions or concerns.
Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout examinations.
Follow radiation safety, infection control, HIPAA, and patient privacy requirements.
Verify patient information and maintain accurate documentation.
Review images for technical quality and repeat studies when necessary.
Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to department standards.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Perform additional mammography-related duties as assigned.
