Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM, Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter, paying close attention to access points, restricted areas, and unusual conditions common to an industrial chemical location. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations as directed by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location. Support emergency and evacuation-related protocols, assist with traffic and pedestrian control as needed, and communicate clearly with employees, contractors, visitors, and/or first responders during routine and unusual events. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
