Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Full-Time

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - CRNA - Weill Cornell Medical Center (Sign‑on Bonus Available) At New York‑Presbyterian Hospital, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) deliver patient‑centered anesthesia for all types of surgical procedures, including cardiac, vascular, neurosurgery, pediatrics and obstetrics. Nurse Anesthetists administer general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgical, obstetric and diagnostic procedures. In addition to providing excellent care, our CRNAs also provide one‑on‑one anesthesia instruction for Columbia University and Fairfield University’s Nurse Anesthesia Program. In April 2018 we opened the state‑of‑the‑art David H. Koch Ambulatory Surgery Center, which has become the focal point of ambulatory surgery at New York‑Presbyterian Hospital. In 2020 we expanded the DHK Ambulatory Center to house the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Women’s Hospital. As a CRNA, you will enjoy flexible scheduling, a balanced caseload, full‑time hours (8, 10, 13 and 24‑hour shifts) and a minimal amount of OB call. New graduates are encouraged to apply; a New‑Graduate Orientation program is available. Key Responsibilities Administer general, regional and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgical, obstetric and diagnostic procedures. Provide one‑on‑one anesthesia instruction to nursing students from Columbia University and Fairfield University. Participate in surgical case planning and intra‑operative patient monitoring. Ensure compliance with all safety and quality protocols. Required Qualifications Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Master of Science in Nursing. Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain). BCLS Certification. ACLS Certification. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or Doctor of Nursing Practice in Advanced Practice (DNAP). All roles require on‑site presence; therefore, employees should live within a commutable distance to New York‑Presbyterian. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.
