The position collaborates with physicians, consultants, and multidisciplinary team members to assure high quality patient outcomes across the continuum of care. The Performance Improvement RN provides quality surveillance through event identification, investigation, reporting, and follow-up for the loop closure process. The Performance Improvement RN also supports all aspects and compliance standards in accordance with maintenance of American College of Surgeons Level I Verification.Requirements:3+ years Clinical Nursing ExperienceExperience in Performance Improvement or a quality roleExperience in Trauma, ICU or TransportBSN required, GA Professional RN License, AHA, BLS from the American Heart AssociationCore CompetenciesThese competencies reflect the values and behaviors expected of all Grady team members, regardless of role.
