Job Position: Pipe Welder
Location: Catoosa, OK 74015 Pay Rate: $30.00/hr (DOE) Shift: 6:00am -5:00pm Description: Stand-By Personnel is seeking an experienced 6G Pipe Welder for a premier client. The ideal candidate will have extensive pipe welding experience and a strong background in TIG welding. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience and be able to demonstrate their skills through a hands-on weld test.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform pipe welding using TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding processes.
Weld pipe in various positions, including 6G.
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
Produce high-quality welds that meet company and industry standards.
Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Work efficiently to meet production and project deadlines. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience required.
Previous pipe welding experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial setting.
Ability to read and interpret welding specifications and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to pass required welding tests.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Welding Test Requirements

3G Plate Test Open root MIG weld
Flux Core fill and cap
Must pass visual inspection before advancing to the pipe test 6G Pipe Test 2"Schedule 160 pipe
TIG root
