Work location: Federal Plaza, Rockville, MD. Responsibilities Solicit first‑mortgage business through relationships with realtors, builders, developers, and other referral sources. Maintain regular contact with realtors, attend open house events, and meet with builders on job sites to discuss lending options. Collect and analyze applicant financial information at our branch locations to assess qualification for specific loan products. Interview applicants, gather data on income, assets, debt, credit history, judgments, liens, and property characteristics. Identify customer needs and recommend the most suitable financial products, advising on risks, benefits, and loan alternatives. Present terms and conditions of mortgage loans to customers. Engage in persuasive sales activities to encourage customers to do business with the company and cross‑promote additional financial services to external referral sources. Perform all loan origination tasks: obtain and analyze financial and credit data, ensure loan conformity with terms, follow up with customers via phone and email, complete required paperwork, and prepare supporting materials. Attend internal meetings as needed and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the loan process. Additional Responsibilities May perform other duties as assigned by management. All employees are accountable for understanding and completing company‑assigned compliance programs, training, and regulatory requirements, and for escalating compliance risks to appropriate management levels. Required Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Required Experience

• 1+ year of recent residential mortgage lending experience, including experience in the local market.
• 1+ year of proven ability to develop referral sources from contacts and relationships outside the organization.
