Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute Outpatient - Wellsboro & Mansfield UPMC is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant/PA or Nurse Practitioner/CRNP) to join our Cardiology team within the nationally renowned UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute, serving patients across Wellsboro and Mansfield. Schedule & Work-Life Balance Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM No weekends, nights, holidays, or on-call responsibilities. What You'll Do Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in an outpatient setting Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions Develop individualized care plans focused on quality outcomes Educate patients and families on heart health and disease prevention Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care Knowledge of growth and development principles Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care across the lifespan Ability to assess patient data and deliver care per departmental policies Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina and dexterity required for direct patient care Successful attainment and maintenance of hospital privileges, where applicable. Licensure, Education, Certifications, and Clearances: Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program BSN required; MSN preferred Pennsylvania RN license and CRNP certification National certification and eligibility for licensure and CRNP certification by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Physician Assistant (PA) Graduation from an ARC‑PA–accredited Physician Assistant program Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred Pennsylvania PA license and NCCPA certification Required for All APP Candidates CPR certification - CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire Successful completion of Pennsylvania clearances: Act 33 Act 34 Act 73 UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran #J-18808-Ljbffr UPMC
