Job Summary Join our campus as a part‑time work‑study custodian. As a college student, you’ll maintain clean and safe spaces, support events, and work flexible 4‑hour shifts. The role is entry‑level; prior experience preferred but not mandatory. Responsibilities Sweep, mop, and dust to keep campus areas clean. Empty trash receptacles and ensure common areas stay tidy. Assist with event setup and breakdown. Collaborate with custodial staff to keep operations running smoothly. Perform detail‑oriented cleaning from flooring to ceilings using appropriate supplies. Maintain safety by following campus protocols. Minimum Qualifications Higher education ≥ 1 year can substitute for 1 year of directly related work experience. Must be currently enrolled at the University of Utah and receive a Federal Work‑Study Award for this year. Ability to lift up to 50 lb. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Preferred Qualifications 6 months or more of custodial experience. Strong communication skills.
