Job Opening and Closing Dates 6/09/2026 - 6/16/2026 Responsibilities 1. Prepare and publish Daily Operations Orders to ensure that operations manpower resources applied to meet objectives. 2. Develops and tracks shift schedules to ensure all shifts are staffed with personnel who have the required qualifications in all areas. 3. Maintain equipment status, review maintenance workorders, and set maintenance work priorities using the plant maintenance module in SAP. 4. Directs operators in the movement of oil, water, and brine at the site. 5. Serves as the Site WEBEOC Administrator and as the Planning Section Chief in the Incident Command Structure. 6. Maintains the tracking system for Operation Requirement Cards, Operator PMs, to ensure that the task are completed as scheduled. 7. Completes chemical inventories and completes input of the inventory into the Semis database. 8. Performs a review of department time cards to validate charges, codes, and prepares overtime justifications. 9. Prepares plans and procedures to support the completion of maintenance and construction related activities. 10. Participates in coordination, scheduling and integration of operational processes, movements and outages. 11. Maintain department administrative files and records. 1. Oversee the activities of Operations personnel during all phases of their daily activity. 2. Perform physical inspections of facilities and initiate action to get discrepancies corrected. 3. Perform trending and analysis of operational data to explain deviations, develop strategies or procedures to solve problems. 4. Oversee the implementation Safe Work Permit program. 5. Serves as the administrator for the site Equipment Specific Energy Control Procedures. 6. Monitor employee performance. Prepare or perform employee assessments/evaluations and documents for formal progressive corrective actions. Prepare or participate in the preparation of training material. Perform or oversee employee training. Provides direction, motivation, coaching and feedback to employees ensuring the most effective and productive use of employee skills, abilities and talents. 7. Oversee the site wastewater treatment plant and process operators to ensure compliance with state permitted outfall requirements. (Maintains state certification requirements) 8. Oversee the site crude oil accountability process. Set and track performance measures to ensure compliance with DOE requirements. 9. Prepares and reviews procedures, work instructions and company related documents to support operational interests and goals. 10. Coordinates and provides assistance, information and reports to the Site DOE SSR as requested. 11. Serves as the Acting Operations Manager in his absence. 1. Attend meetings (Morning staff , Maintenance update, Weekly planning, Monthly Safety Council, Quarterly Emergency Planning Group, Pre- Fluid Movement Coordination, CEC, CRC, Design Review, Pre-Bid, Pre-Construction, Readiness Review, Green Room, and other meetings as required. 2. Prepares Purchase Requests (PR’s) to supply departmental resource requirements. 3. Participates in MOC, DOE, VPP, 9001, 14001 and third party audits and finding resolutions. 4. Provides notification, assistance, information and reports to the NOLA OCC as requested. 5. Provides assistance and direction to operating crews during off-duty periods to ensure safe and efficient 24/7 operations. Qualifications Required qualifications: High School degree required and at least 10 years of experience in the field or in a oil related industry. Two years minimum Supervisory experience required. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Must be able to operate PC and use MS Office software.
