Sterile Processing Tech – Sterile Processing

Schedule: Shift: Days, 5x8 – 06:00–14:30, Mon–Fri

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per week

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years sterile processing experience
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Required Certifications: CBSPD OR CRCST (HSPA/formerly IAHCSMM)
• Instrument tracking experience with Censis (CensiTrac strongly preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols.
• Operate and maintain sterilizers and washers as per standard operating procedures.
• Assemble and maintain surgical instrument sets and trays, including those for trauma and transplant procedures.
• Manage loaner and consignment trays, along with corresponding preference cards.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 8 hours
• Maximum of 7 days of RTO during contract (no RTO in first week).
• Scrubs provided; device policy prohibits personal cellphones and earbuds during shifts.
