At Easterseals PORT Health, we’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Community Support Team Co‑Occurring Disorder Specialist to join our team in Mt. Airy. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work together to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward. The teams at Easterseals PORT Health care directly for our clients in the community, including visits to clients living in their own homes. What You’ll Do As a Co‑Occurring Disorder Specialist in the Community Support Team (CST), you will provide services to individuals who have a mental health or substance use disorder and meet the two life domains. You will conduct comprehensive substance abuse assessments, use outreach and motivational interviewing techniques to work with individuals in earlier stages of change readiness, facilitate the Person‑Centered Planning process, provide structured face‑to‑face interventions, psychosocial rehabilitative interventions, and case coordination. This full‑time position offers a Monday‑Friday flexible non‑traditional schedule and serves the Mt. Airy area. It is community‑based. We offer competitive benefits to eligible positions. Supervision for licensure Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) qualifier What We’re Looking For Human services degree is preferred. Certified as a CCS, LCAS, LCASA, CSAC, or CADC. Ability to be credentialed as a Mental Health Qualified Professional. Medical administrative technician certification or equivalent preferred. Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a good driving record. Demonstrate high moral and ethical character, and be free of any substantiated charges of abuse or neglect on the NC Healthcare Registry. Prepared to carry out a full range of treatment functions in a community setting, work independently, and handle crisis situations. Participation in the crisis phone rotation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
