How you will make contributions that matter… Assist plants in reviewing, rewriting, and implementation of environmental programs. Assist in ensuring compliance with the Risk Management Program (RMP)/Process Safety Management Program (PSM) for the ammonia refrigeration system, and any other programs required by OSHA and Corporate Safety, Health and Environments Departments. Coordinate supplemental inspections whenever new processes, equipment or substances are introduces or new or previously unrecognized hazards are identified. Help complete the plant environmental reports including fuel usage, air emissions, storm water, chemical/product spills, waste oil, light bulb recycling and other environmental waste programs. Verify that corrective measures are completed in a timely fashion for any hazards identified. Participate in post incident analysis and communicate lessons learned. Submit weekly status reports specifying projects completed during the week. Other duties or projects as required or requested. You are best suited for the role if you… Are pursuing a bachelors’ or graduate degree in an Environmental or a related field. Are self-motivated, able to multi-task, can work independently, and as part of a team. Are able to lead, influence, and motivate people. Have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must have valid drivers’ license and vehicle and ability to travel throughout the Wisconsin area/upper Midwest. Have a working knowledge of computer programs (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.) a must, proficient skills preferred. Demonstrate professionalism and positively represents and promotes Saputo at all times.
