Join our healthcare team in Des Moines, IA, where you will play a vital role in supporting mothers and their newborns throughout the labor and delivery process. This position demands proficiency in high-risk obstetrics, antepartum care, and both cesarean and vaginal deliveries. You will work in a vibrant environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1-2, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and attentive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to high-risk obstetric patients.
• Oversee antepartum, cesarean, and vaginal deliveries.
• Administer medications including magnesium, insulin, and pitocin.
• Float between multiple campuses as required.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant setting.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment within the last 12 months.
• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact/multistate license.
• Intermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certification.
• Experience with EPIC EMR.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA).
