In short, We Enable Possibility.SummaryArch is looking to employ an Associate - Credit Analyst to collaborate with and support the Credit team in managing approximately $11 billion in corporate bonds across multiple portfolios.Job ResponsibilitiesBuild, maintain, and enhance sophisticated credit models for an assigned coverage universe, exercising independent judgment on key assumptions and risk factorsGenerate high-quality, decision-ready write-ups on specific credits, sectors, and situations, with minimal need for senior revisionDrive cross-sector discussions with the portfolio management team, surfacing original insights and challenging consensus views where warrantedProactively deliver well-substantiated relative value trade ideas across industries, sectors, and capital structures, with demonstrated impact on portfolio positioningEngage directly and confidently with covered issuers on credit and material ESG factorsServe as a go-to resource for less experienced analysts on coverage-related questionsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject (e.g., finance, economics); post-graduate degree strongly preferredDemonstrated progress toward, or completion of, CFA certification strongly preferred4+ years of experience in an investment function, with a track record of expanding responsibilityStrong, demonstrated knowledge of credit instruments and structured productsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to PMsVery strong work ethic and high degree of self-directionFamiliarity with BlackRock Aladdin platform a plusFor individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.$140,000 - $165,000/yearTotal individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs.
