Allendale, NJ (Future relocation to Morristown, NJ area in 2027)

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a hands-on Industrial Pump Mechanic / Mechanical Repair Technician for a growing assembly and repair shop in Allendale, NJ. We are open to candidates with strong mechanical or technical backgrounds, including experience in:
- Industrial maintenance
- Rotating equipment
- Machinery repair
- Automotive or diesel mechanics
- Electro-mechanical assembly
- Machining
- Millwright work
- Mechanical assembly or repair environments
- Assemble and disassemble industrial pumps and mechanical equipment
- Build and test complete pump systems
- Troubleshoot and repair returned or malfunctioning equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Operate hand tools and shop equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
- Assist with equipment setup, inspections, and testing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience in industrial, mechanical, automotive, machining, maintenance, or technical environments
- Ability to use hand tools and read technical drawings/blueprints
- Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, rotating equipment, or shop machinery is a plus
- Familiarity with lathes, mills, band saws, or 3-phase motors is preferred but not required
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety
