Job Description
The Occupational Therapist Pediatric plays a vital role in assessing and providing therapeutic interventions to children with developmental, physical, or cognitive challenges. Working within a small multidisciplinary team, this role involves collaboration with healthcare professionals and families to ensure comprehensive care, with travel expected to local clinics. The position offers opportunities mainly focused on clinical duties, with potential growth towards a clinical supervisor role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine therapy needs
- Implement individualized therapeutic interventions tailored for pediatric patients
- Monitor and document progress to adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Educate families on therapy techniques and support strategies
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Proficiency in pediatric therapy techniques and therapeutic intervention
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Clinical documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in pediatric occupational therapy
