Responsibilities
• Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments using office software
• Verify and explain insurance benefits to patients
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and information
• Scan, fax, copy, and file documents accurately
• Process incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Provide exceptional customer service while supporting a positive patient experience
• Assist with general administrative and clerical duties as needed
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk, administrative assistant, medical office, or customer service role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly encouraged to apply
