Job Description Geotechnical Engineer (Tampa)
We're hiring a Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing geotechnical team in the Tampa area. You'll work on subsurface investigations, foundation design, and earthwork recommendations from concept through construction.
What you'll do
Compensation: $90,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience. We're hiring a Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing geotechnical team in the Tampa area. You'll work on subsurface investigations, foundation design, and earthwork recommendations from concept through construction.
What you'll do
- Plan and oversee subsurface investigations and laboratory testing
- Prepare geotechnical reports and foundation recommendations
- Design retaining walls, slopes, and earthwork solutions
- Coordinate with structural and civil engineers and support construction
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- Geotechnical engineering experience (PE preferred)
- Proficiency with geotechnical analysis tools and AutoCAD or Civil 3D
