Tech Support Specialist

Innova Solutions is partnering with a client that is actively seeking to hire a Technical Support Specialist for an immediate opening.

Title: Technical Support Specialist
Duration: 3+ month contract with potential extension/conversion
Employment Type: Full-time / Contract on W2
Location: Dublin, CA

In this role, you will:
• Provide desktop and helpdesk support for Windows PCs, laptops, and Intel-based systems
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft O365, and business applications
• Manage user accounts, printers, file permissions, and network connectivity issues
• Setup, relocate, and support workstations, laptops, printers, AV, and telecom systems
• Assist with basic network support, technical documentation, and special IT projects
• Deliver timely and professional technical support while participating in after-hours rotations

An ideal candidate will have:
• Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft O365
• Experience with desktop support, helpdesk ticketing systems, and Intel-based hardware
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, and network troubleshooting tools such as PING
• Experience working with servers, computer hardware, and data storage/retrieval methods
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills, including tools like Visio
• Experience supporting Mac operating systems including OSX, iOS, iPhone, iPad, and Apple products preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant technical certifications preferred

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $25hr - $30/hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
