Exams and X-rays are often completed by the support staff ahead of time, so your hour is dedicated to hygiene. Favorable Call Schedule: No call. When you clock out, you're done. Culture & Support: Work alongside a team of about seven hygienists with dental assistant support as needed. Receptionists handle recall, waitlists, and last-minute cancellations, and the Associate Director is a practicing hygienist who gets it. Professional Growth Opportunities: New grads are welcome and supported. Annual performance reviews can earn raises of up to 5% and consistent overachievers may prompt a compensation review. Compensation & Benefits : Competitive Compensation: $95,000 base for 1.0 FTE, prorated for part-time. Additional Bonus Incentives: Annual performance increases of up to 5%, a $2,500 multilingual stipend, and a referral bonus program. Sign-On & Retention Bonuses: Pick the plan that fits your goals: Front-Loaded Plan: $10,000 sign-on before you start plus annual retention bonuses: $30,000 year 1 and $40,000 years 2-3; $255,000 total retention over 10 years. Flexible Plan: $15,000 sign-on bonus paid over three years + 3 months housing, loan assistance, enhanced PTO/CE, and a $10,000 retention bonus beginning after year four. Qualifications : Degree: Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program Certifications: Active CPR certification (PCHS can help you obtain this) Licensure: Active Washington State Dental Hygiene license and a valid driver's license. Candidates may interview while licensure is in process as long as they are eligible, so out-of-state hygienists are encouraged to apply. Skillset: Patient-centered and mission-driven with a heart for community health. Comfortable with heavier calculus cases and patients who are less consistent with recall, plus a team player.
