A highly respected, family-owned company in the South Charlotte/Monroe area is looking for an Accounting Professional to join its team and work alongside a longtime Accountant/Office Manager who will be retiring next spring after more than 15 years with the company. What You'll Do

You'll play an important role in the companys day-to-day financial operations, with responsibilities including:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities and general ledger functions

Process payroll accurately and timely

Monitor and manage company cash flow and banking activities

Handle Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, collections, and account maintenance Manage Accounts Payable, including vendor invoices and payments

Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close

Maintain accurate financial records and support reporting needs

Work closely with the current Accountant/Office Manager to learn company-specific processes and responsibilities

Help ensure a smooth transition as the current accounting professional prepares for retirement

Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed
