Duties:
- Inspect, remove, and replace tires on diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and repair tire issues including flats, punctures, valve stems, and leaks.
- Mount, balance, rotate, and torque tires using proper equipment and safety procedures.
- Perform road service calls for tire repairs or replacements on roadside breakdowns.
- Check tire pressure, tread depth, and wear patterns; document findings and report recommendations.
- Maintain inventory of tires, tools, and repair materials.
- Assist in alignment checks and wheel inspections to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation.
- Operate air tools, tire changers, hydraulic jacks, and other heavy-duty shop equipment safely.
