Client Overview:
Our client, a trusted full-service CPA Firm located in Ramsey, NJ, is growing rapidly and seeking to hire a Tax Manager !Salary/Hourly Rate:
$120k - $145kPosition Overview:
The Tax Manager will join/oversee a collaborative and growing team with a focus on tax preparation for individual, corporate, and partnership returns.Responsibilities of the Tax Manager:
- The Tax Manager will oversee staff and be instrumental in the seasonal/annual tax processes
- Handle all tax preparations for clients.
- Process returns for both personal and business accounts.
- Prepare financial statements as necessary on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Engage with outside clients for tax matters throughout the year.
- Utilize UltraTax for return processing and deadline management.
Required Experience/Skills for the Tax Manager:
- The Tax Manager will have 8+ years of prior tax preparation experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Prior experience working for a regional or local CPA firm.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Tax Manager:
- Knowledge of UltraTax is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
