CDL A Truck Driver

Job Summary:

As a Class A CDL OTR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of goods at various locations across the country. The ideal Class A CDL OTR Driver adheres to American Furniture Warehouse's quality expectations and safety standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Responsible for delivering our products in a safe, timely and accurate manner.

* Operate 53' dry Vans requiring an appropriate CDL license

* use of electronic logging device, ELD

* Report any vehicle problems and defects to the on-site truck maintenance department.

* Comply with all state, local and national Department of Transportation standards and regulations while maintaining a good driving record.

* Reinforce the American Furniture Warehouse high standards of customer service by consistently delivering orders on time and in a courteous and professional manner.

Qualifications:

* Must have a CDL with at least one year of recent OTR experience with similar equipment.

* No major FMCSA violations.

* Clean MVR with no at-fault D.O.T reportable accidents within the last three years.

* Must have no restriction on CDL and be able to maintain a CDL.

* Must be based / live within 100 miles of an AFW Distribution Center.

A Pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment background check must be passed upon job offer.
