Shipping Specialist

Shipping Specialist – Permobil Responsible for moving and locating incoming components from suppliers into the warehouse using bar‑code scanners and computers. Works closely with Production, Warehouse, and Receiving Supervisors and adheres to all safety practices and company policies. Key Tasks Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists. Verify product codes, quantities, and quality before packing. Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage, label packages, and prepare them for shipment using shipping software. Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely dispatch of orders. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits; report discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent education. Previous warehouse or shipping experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Basic computer and scanning device skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with adaptive technology, mobility equipment, or medical device standards desired. Leadership skills – proven ability to work in a team environment with other groups.
